Learning and comprehending are positive methods of gaining real knowledge. In imparting education they are well recognized skills which need to be developed amongst the students. In order to enhance the same, school has set up a well equipped library.
Our Libraries offer a range of resources to its students and faculty. These resources are provided to cater the specific academic needs of the members. The libraries have a well selected collection of Books, Journals, Periodicals, Newspapers and Audio Visual Media. New additions are constantly made in order to keep the library abreast of the latest.
Needs of students and faculty members of Durgaprasad Vidyaniketan School, Kanpur are being catered by libraries slotted for Senior, Middle and Junior classes.
Open rack system is followed to encourage the child to explore the world of knowledge and learning by himself. Extra reading habit is a positive asset in the child’s growth.
Library has a rich collection of number of books to strengthen the undergoing courses in school. Documents related to different major disciplines are available in the Library. It has reserved some collection as reference which can be referred to the Library only, borrowing privileges are not given on this collection.
It has a spacious reading room. A separate reference area has been provided for the students as well as the faculty members.
Library remains open as per school timings on all working days.
